W/D's without knowing it

the other day i was thinking about the end of  my drug use and about my overdose and remembered taking oxy's for a few weeks when i popped my ribs that night. after taking the oxy's the doctor would not give them out again and i took ty 3's for another week or so. right after this, i got the flu and i remember this cause it was one of the worst flu's i ever had. i literally stayed in bed for 3 days and my body ached like never before. the sweats, shaking and a massive headache. i did not want to get out of bed and i was telling a friend about this and realized that this had to have been w/d's. cocaine is my doc and there are no physical w/d's with cocaine. ive never ever taken pills, except for about  a month after my overdose. until the other day i never realized that this had to be w/d's. what do you think?? can u really w/d after a month of use?? what i wonder now is how many people that get put on pills for awhile and then suddenly stop think that they actually only have the flu. i was clueless i had w/d's, but it had to have been.

lmao, this happened around christmas, no worries. where have u been:). i just remembered this the other day and realized it must have been w/d's. im assuming there are people that get put on meds for a couple months then when they stop they w/d thinking it's the flu. at the time i had no idea it was w/d's, i knew nothing about pills.

Sure sounds like some w/d's hon when did you take this?  And for how long.  I was afraid this would happen, but you were in accute pain it is sooo different from chronic pain it is truely intense you had to have something.  Don't beat yourself up.  Just get back on the horse and ride hopefully you wont need anything for pain for a long long time!

that is a good question, you don't have w/d's from coke, but i don't know why. coming down from coke is hell and although at times i felt sick the only thing i had were the shakes, sweats and no energy along with depression i never knew existed. the crash from coke for me lasted almost 2 days, that's why i kept going, doh. the mental part is very tough, thought the cravings would be gone by now, but i know we all crave at times.

Sure does sound like w/d's to me and really why wouldnt there be?  I never thought of it like this before.  If you had to take them for a month or so and then up and quit your body would have to go thru that wouldnt it??  Interesting!!!!

I have a question to after reading your post....you have no physical w/d after stopping cocaine?  why is that?  Oh man then it is all the mental part?

Its crazy cause years ago my mom gave me a bottle of vic...7.5...and i took em...no big deal....Then i got the worse flu of my life...i didnt eat for 4 or 5 days and ended up at the ER......I am not the kinnda guy that would ever think of going to the ER..

Years later i know that it was W/D's..

I read somewhere that the drug addiction to pills comes from people relizing that another pill will make them better...Most people dont relize and they are fine..
