Welll I started Sub...

... failed at every other attempt..  Yesterday morning Dr. started me on 4mg and I got buzzed, then last night took other 4mg (other half of pill) and got as sick as I've ever been.  Puke, dizzy, etc.  Feel ok now after 4mg an hour ago..  Figure it's my 40th birthday and time to quit using.  Does this Sub-start sound typical?   I didn't WANT to do this but I couldn't quit 'on my own'....  Rememer I'm the one that binged for 10 days, quit for 3 weeks, and on-and-on-and-on-and-on....

haven't been to any meetings since I quit drinking April 18, 1990... The Dr. I'm seeing has a therapist I talk to for about 45 min. a visit.  We pretty much just shoot the %*$* and he monitors my vitals as I take the medicine...

I'd like to go to meeting though

Are you going to any AA/NA or an addiction counselor??
