What is good to take to repair liver damage?

Liver damage once I had a ultrasound and they told me I had fat on my liver not a good thing I would assume.
What is really good to help the liver repair itself? It would seem like any pills you would take would stil need to be processed by the liver not really helping the situation?
Thanks

Because I am in a piece of **** south american country that have no idea what to take unless they send you to a medicine man!
1) Milk Thistle Extract (Seeds or Fruit), with the key ingredient: Silymarin,
2) Dandelion Root,
3) Artichoke
Are unheard of down here!
However I have a good lead someone out here is seeling natural sunshine herbs they may have a blend.
Thanks

I wish I could help but I am not that familiar with it. Your doctor should have discussed this further but if he/she did not, try going to the health food store. One thing I know is "Milk Thistle".

Good luck and let us know if you found something.
