Hi!  You are so, so sweet... It felt so nice to read this this morning .. I felt missed!

I haven't been around much lately, it's true.  I started a new job a couple weeks ago, so my days have been pretty much shot.  On top of it, have a family situation that has been very hard to deal with (heart is breaking..) but also, reconciled with b.f. which has been wonderful!

So it's really been a roller coaster lately, to say the least!

I sure miss everyone and am going to try to be on more.  I think I need it (the support.)  Thank you so, so much again for thinking of me.

How are you?? Are you doing ok?

Wow, I had no idea you were not an addict. You are so involved in this forum. I think that is so great that you are here and participating.  You are a great mom. I'm sure you being here helps them tremendously.  Understanding us addict's not easy, huh. lol  Have a great day !  Mary

no...lol...i am not addicted to anything.  i came to this forum a year ago to get into the heads of addicts...to try and learn what makes them addicts...why they cant "just stop".  i have four sons and three of them are addicts in different stages of addiction.  i have been living "addiction", through my sons, for around 12-15 years now.  this site has taught me more than any therapist, counselor, or rehab has ever done.

i have seen first hand how my sons have traded one addiction for another.  i just worry about ppl staying on the sub for too long and falling into that trap.  i am glad that you are tapering down and wish you well with that :)

Started it Jan. 30th.  Yes have been tapering very slowly, but only started at 8mg and am down to 4mg now.  I'm getting very worried about using it long term.  Are you on sub ?
