what will the w/d be like coming off 4 loratab 10s a day now I have been on them for around 3 or 4 years will it be like the Methadone 20mg I just came off of or worse but shorter it seems Like it may be more intense for me because when I dont take them about 3 or 4 hours later the mild w/d start if it is no worse I think I am almost ready to jump and to all wondering I am doing ok just kinda like I have a very mild case of the flu accept for about 2hrs after I take a tab they used to last great until the methadone was added

Its so good to see that you are so committed to this!  You are doing great!!!  If you are able to taper then thats a good thing!!!  Even if its 1/2 pill a week thats a great start!!!  You can do this!!!  Keep pushing forward and doing the right thing!!!!  :)

Still being on the loratabs has helped with your methadone detox.
So it's probably best to taper off the tabs to allow the methadone detox to continue.
If you go cold turkey you might bring on some of the methadone withdrawal.

And you are doing good. I am a firm believer of tapering steady slowly if you can. And since you can that is great. You got off the worst one. And that is huge.

Yes 1/2 spill decrease is a good start. And keep doing that each week. Listen to your body. Don't take one during sleeping time. So no 3am pill. If you can. Going all night from 10 pm - 6 am was a great feeling for me.

this is the first time I have ever tried to stop taking meds and so far I have done good I am not sure how health I eat but I never gain weight I can eat whatever I want as much as I want and never gain a pound never been over 135 but i do get mad when I watch the news

yes I am a person who is able to taper I just think it may be like strung out milder w/d instead of a intense shorter one I may try to go down half a tab tomorrow and see how that goes I am back to working so that helps pass the time

Every effort is appreciated. Life is hard. We're expected to eat whole grains & vegetables when all this bad food is around.
We're expected to stay relaxed & calm when TV and movies And news are filled with violence.
  We're expected to jump off meds & just suck it up when we know how hard it was last time & the time before that ad...

that is great news to know it might not be as bad because I will be honest that was very hard knowing one little pill right in front of me could take it all away makes me think I will make it after all 14 days not taking the dones has made me feel I have accomplished something I am sure my taper helped that not be as bad i was down to 5mg and jumped and the loratab makes me feel like I cheated though it will not be complete till those are gone as well people on here are the only ones I have to give me a pat on the back thank you so much it really helps to know someone out there cares it dont go unaprecciated

Is shouldn't be as bad or as long as methadone but it will still be withdrawal and you will have all the symptoms.

Can you taper down?
