WD from opiates and drinking alcohol

Question...if I am going through ct WD from opiates and on day 12, will having a glass of wine or a drink interfere with the progress?  Do not and have not had a problem with alcohol in the past, but worried it is a slippery slope.

Slippery slope? Yeah most likely.....

But good god, I couldn't even fathom waking up to a hangover WHILE being in wds..That's brutal....

Unless you really meant just ONE glass. but that would give me a hangover for sure. I never was a good drinker. Hence why I quit.

It's your choice but I wouldn't recommend it.  I couldn't drink because I knew I would drink so much just to numb the affects of withdrawals then feel 10X worse in the morning.  I also think alcohol is a drug too so you have to be real careful.

The be frank, it will not help and will make you feel worse actually.  I would not recommend it, and not because you might get addicted.  Mainly because it will interfere with your brain healing, your mood, and alter you to where you might make a bad choice regarding narcs.

Just best to avoid it.

It is a slippery slope and an easy trap. For me, alcohol is a drug. It is mind and mood altering so I avoid it. It is also a depressant and I am sure you don't need that. It may also hinder your withdrawal process and even prolong it. It is your choice to make. Good luck.
