How long for results. ( drug test )

well it has been 40 days now off vicodin (feeling awesome ) i just have a question maybe someone can answer i went for a UA this week for a job ( 40 days clean though) just wondering how long till results come back i read 24-48 hours just wondering if anyone may know the answer to this (really ready for this job),well thanks guys & girls ,you have a wonderful day ,god bless...jeff..

I wouldnt worry about it.  Some employers dont even mention it if nothing shows up.

i took my drug test the day i went for orientation on thursday and they sat there and waited for the lines to show up. i guess some places send them off. of course where i work it is all doctors and nurses so they have all they need right there to test you immediately. thank god i am clean and passed. i am happy to be working.
and i am sure you are good. i took mine at only 12 days clean and i passed. i was so proud of myself. and i am proud of you for being clean 40 days. good for you.

thanks everyone ,of coarse i am expecting a call like you passed but i have to return on Tuesday and was just wondering i took the test on Tuesday so it's been 6 days so i hope i am good but i should be right i haven't did none for 40 days but was just a little worried first one i ever took after quitting just freaked myself out i guess...thanks..jeff..

MV77 is right - 48 hours is usually the longest you have to wait.  I've seen results come back sooner than that as well.
