Withdrawal sore legs

I have been on Oxy for white some time and I stopes taking them and my legs are killing me?  Anybody have Elaine home remedies??????

Oh my thanks everyone!  I was on Oxy but after a suicide attempt which included a lot of Oxy as well as other meds, my dr cut me off of the Oxy because I couldn't be trusted not to use them again!  So it was not my choice to stop Oxy, I have incredible pain in my head and neck which she has given me Tylenol with codiene which is barely touching it! AND now my legs and lower back are making sleep impossible!  Anybody know how long this wd lasts?  And when she takes me off of the Ativan and other stuff will withdrawal be the same?

Try to eat a few bananas every day.  It helped me so much for the restless legs.  And aleve, or motrin, will help with pain.  Hot showers and baths with epsom salts can do wonders for you pain as well.  And I agree with vicki595 please be careful with the drugs you are now taking.  Most are very potent drugs and can be very dangerous.

Hang in there - what is your final goal here?  To stop all of the drugs, perhaps one at a time?  You'll find with time the pain subsides and OTC pain meds work really well.  I wish you much luck.  And again, PLEASE be careful with what you are now taking.

Rvzoo--  You're kidding right???   Telling an addict to take Vicodin for RLS??

Sad---  You need minerals like potassium,calcium,and magnesium. It really helps. Also,Hylands Restful Legs @ Walgreens works great.  Be careful of that cocktail you're taking at night. You could end up back in the hospital...

Hi my legs killed all night I took sleeping pils, muscle relaxers, Tylenol, naproxen, ativan everything I could think out and nothing took the pain away however I guess I took enough to knock me out because I slept for a long time and I woke up in ........ PAIN!!!!  When will this feeling end?  I wanna cut my legs of!

Its withdrawals. Try to sleep it off. Ibuprofen help a lot. If u can get Vicodin take such small doses 5mg helps if you truly hurt and after a few days cut down from Vic's. It will make it a bit easier.
