Withdrawal

I hope someone can help me.  I have been doing the Ashton Manual withdrawal method to come off of Klonopin.  I am done with the Klonopin but now have to wean off the Valium.  Everyday is pure agony.  When will  this end?  I have been off of Klonopin for 2 months now and have been doing the withdrawal for 8 months and it is NOT getting better, only worse.  I am now on 10 mg of Valium in the morning and 4 mg at night cutting 1 mg a week.  I cannot see this getting any better.  Can someone tell me their experience with this?  Thanks

Hi,
I am going through the Ashton Manual Crossover now from Xanax to Valium with the intention of tapering off the Valium as it is the longer lasting benzo in the bloodstream.  I am confused as to why you were/are taking Klonopin AND Valium as both of those are the drugs of choice to crossover to that have long half-lives.  Can you Personal Message me a detailed message of your entire experience--what you started with, when, why and how you switched to Valium from Klonopin?  None of this follows the Ashton Manual from what you describe.  Please PM me and I will see if I can understand more of what you are doing, and make some sense of it for you.

Thanks for your support.  Luckily I have a supportive husband and family but they can't really understand what I'm going through and how bad it is every day, especially when you have to try and work at the same time.  It feels like I can't do it another day but somehow I do.  Thanks for your support

i ve no experience with pills but i quit heroin about 5 months back. i was in pure hell while going through w/ds. kept fighting paws for 4 months. i used think it s never going to end. but eventually for past few days it s been better. i started getting some sleep.
don t worry it has to stop, just don t let it be a hurdle in ur recovery.
