Meds for Cocaine Withdraw?

Its been a long time since I've been to rehab and I've heard there are new meds to help "take the edge off" when detoxing from cocaine.  Provigil was one of them. Does anyone have any knowledge of this type of therapy?   It would be greatly appreciated.  Thanks K

provigil is used to improve wakefulness in adults who experience excessive sleeping. i have never heard of someone taking this for taking the edge off when quitting coke. although they have tested a new drug for cocaine addiction, it has not been approved by the fda yet. i used for coke for 5 years very heavily and went c/t as the physical w/d's from coke are so minimul, but it is the mental part that is devastaing. have you tried n/a meetings, counselling. quitting this drug is a devil to quit and as of now, there is now pill that will help as i know of. stick around this forum, it's great for support, and you will find some of the answers you are looking for. please get off this drug, it almost killed me.
