14 days clean

hi i am 16 and am 14 days clean of vicodin (3-6 7.5mg daily) and am still in muscle pains in arms,shoulders and back.i cant take it no more. this is horriable i dont even know how i made it this far, please help

hey i know it is a hard road at the moment but wow you are so young and can see you have a problem. you have to be sooo proud of that. so many of us take so long to see it and have a lot of fixing to do. just keep kicking butt it will get better. you will have ups and downs but those will begin to get farther apart. like myself you have to see that some of the friends you have arent your real friends there just party friends, and they will want you to go back so they dont feel so bad about themselves.  keep reading and posting here, and maybe find a meeting by you good support is needed. you are in my prayers and keep kicking butt.

forgot to mention i turned down morphine from friend =D it made me feel great to be like no u ******* ashole im an addict remember.. lol its all cookies though what are friends for

thank u it is now 2 weeks and 1 day i am physical feeling better(hope to stay) i think that my probs to others (oxy,heroin morphine) is a walk in park i will keep posting god blees u alll

Don't Quit now you are WINNING ! I know it does'nt feel like it right now but it will get better. I have been excersisng and in does help. A tleast now I have a reason to hurt as I am a lot older than you ( nearly 51 ) and sooo out of shape. Read and reread these posts and know that once past this you will not have to do it again. well done man on 2 weeks clean. sorry you feel like ****, but it will get better very soon. you are 16, better to do this now and stay clean, then 20 years from now with serious problems. i wish ya the best of luck. hang in there, it will get better.

Congrats on 14 days...2 weeks then 3 weeks...before u know it u will be clean a year!

I am getting ready to start tapering tomorrow. We ca do it. Age 16 OMG. you are young and strong. I am old and ugly :)

It is the hardest thing you will ever do but it will make you stronger than anything else in your life, I'm 20 and am 23 days clean c/t off of roxi's and oxy's xanax and marijuana.  You can do it, don't wait the extra 4 years like I did and make it harder its just not worth it man, there is tons of great ppl here and I am sure you will get all the help you need.

This could be one of the most difficult things you go through in your life. But it is also one of the most valuable things you will do for yourself or your loved ones.
I will pray that your discomfort will go away soon. You never have to do the first day again. I used vics for 6+ years. It doesn't get easier

yes you can make it..It is great that you made the decision to do this now..before you have years and years of addiction..You can get through this..And you made it this far because you wanted to..right? your only 16 and that is the smartest choice you have made to be rid of an addiction to pain meds..as for the muscle aches..that should subside soon..Try getting plenty of exercise and drink LOTS of water..maybe motrin would help better..hot baths when you can..good luck to you and you should be very proud of yourself for doing this..don't give up..
