Well I did it!!! it took a few time of picking up the phone and putting it back and picking it up again but I did it!!!! years ago I went to see a phycatrist(sp) but stopped going cause I had found my mirical drug, oxys, ahahha yeah right that made everything worse, as we all know...so I decided to go back and see my old phycatrist and see what he reccomends I do....I really never had anxiety before but seems lately I have been excpirencing what i think is anxiety...like theres this heavyness on me and it wont let go. Can anyone out there with depression tell me what I should excpect for treatment its been long time for me. are any of the drugs they are more than likely gonna give me addicting??? I dont wnt back in the boat again. so any advice woud be great thanks for listening sorry to be a pest  I will let you know what happens after my first appointment. Thanks

Good for you! It really is hard to make that call. I am unclear from your post if you are clean now or still using oxys. Oxys in the past have left me feeling very very very anxious and depressed. So maybe some of what you are feeling has to do with Oxys.

I have been taking Zoloft for over 15 years and it saved my life. All anti-depressants can cause a difficult wd type reaction when quitting depending on amount and length of time using, although Doctors typically deny that. All or most are recommended  to be tapered But are not "addicting" in the usual sense. But I am very pro-anti-depressants. They do take time to click in and you have to be patient and work with your doctor and try different types.

The oxys more than any other drug did more to make me feel really crazy. Best to get off and stay away from them.

my doc has me on lexapor 30mg day it hepls with despression and anxinty it took 2 weeks be for it started woring and a month be4 it was in fuul affect but it has really helped with my depression/anxinty i have always had a despression issue byt never anxinty intell i tried to stop takeing norco the anxinty kills me!!!! i also had zanix for olny 2weeks so i wouldnt get to the point that i needed it but it helped till the lexapro started working good luck to you hang in there
