can i get methadone prescribed by dr.for addiction

i have been taking opiates for five years now and just got on methadone.  I buy it from an illegal source because i cant make it to the clinic or pay the 800 and some dollar fee. i was wondering if i would be able to find a doctor that could prescribe me methadone for my addiction instead.  I tried to fake medical records and get on pain management but all i could get was 10mg norco and that will not help with a 160mg addiction.

PM Dr.'s write them for pain.  They are really cheap too.  90 10mg. are like $12.00

FLaddict here you can have GP's write methadone scripts for addiction, I agree try Sub first, these people selling it illegally only make its reputation worse too btw becarefull buying it too thats how OD's happen   goodluck

Doctors are not legally allowed to write scripts for methadone for addiction purposes, that can only be done in a clinic setting due to Federal regulations controlling methadone.  It can be written for pain management only by a regular doctor.

Have you looked into Suboxone?? That is usually the better choice. Especially if you plan you actually get off opiates, alot of people that go the methadone route never get off of it. Or go through alot of pain attempting to get off.
