What does it mean when my fingers tingle? When it's time for me to take another one, my fingers start to tingle and I get nervous..... What's the deal with the tingling??

Thanks Ric! I'm ready to be done with these demons! I'm ready to be off the Xanax. I'm at about 3 mg per day now. I'm hoping to be even less in a couple days. If I only could get rid of tingly fingers. So that's a panic attack starting?

You should really consult your doctor about this .I hope it goes away but I think the doctor would know best about this .  great job on being off of the opiates !!

Glad to hear you are doing good with the detox. Yeah, I have anxiety and sometimes get panic attacks. I know that numb, tingly feeling all too well. It can be scary. Good luck to you on the Xanax taper. You're doing this under a doctor's care right? Slow and steady is the key to benzo tapers.

I'm fine with the opiate w/d! 2 wks tomorrow! I'm so glad. But I'm trying to get off these Xanax. It's not a pinched nerve bc it goes away about 15 min after I take one.

Tingling could be signs of many things pannic attack or a pinched nerve in the back/neck.
have you ever been diagnosed with this?

Tingling in the extremities is usually a symptom of a panic attack. Our bodies go into survival mode and cut off the blood flow to the non-essential areas of the body. It usually starts in the hands and feet then spreads up the arms and legs. How are you doing today as far as the opiate detox? You feeling any better?
