As someone who is in day 4 of suboxone withdrawal (and tapered from 2 mg a day to .25 mg a day) I wouldn't recommend it. I feel absolutely awful - not as bad as from an intense perc/oxy w/d a went through a few years ago, but enough to make me miss work and feel horrible. I agree with "Avisg" that it's jumping from the frying pan into the fire. Just my two cents. Hang in there!
I would not suggest ANYONE on tram take sub to get off of it ...Its going from the frying pan into the fire .I would taper off of it is the someone that can hold the the pills for you and give them to you ...You are at severe risk of seizures if they have not happened already.
It going to be very important that u have recovery care set up so once your off of it U can stay off of them . I would really really think very hard and do alot of research before u go on sub .
Sub does nothing to affect the mental desire to use that can last for months after tramadol - - reference Emily Post and her blog on Tramadol - just throw it in the med help search engine........ Trams are more of a souped up antidepressant than a real pain pill - but they do have Mu affinity - - Also look in Health Pages for sub withdraws - - most say to not use more than 21 days to avoid totally unpleasant withdraws........ many Docs say that you need to be on it for life (they use insulin as an example...) But I am quite uncomfortable with this approach - - sub is a much stronger narc than trammies - - You would be much better off with a Doc that understood the AD properties of tramm's and not merely the several days of physical wd's - - thats just the start. There does not exist a magic pill to avoid all discomfort from addiction....... And the mental issues take a lot longer and are tougher to get past than the strict physical withdrawal........
i will work but be carfull dont over med you can have sizururs. and if you take to much you will get a bad head ace.but all in all it can help i would rather take meth !!!
