Day 12, first NA meeting today @ noon..

Just wanted to say good morning. Day 12 doing well. Going to 1st NA meeting today at noon. Kinda nervous not really looking forward to facing strangers with my addiction but has to be done. Wish me luck..  Have a great Sunday all!!

Can't wait to hear how it goes!! Remember if it doesn't 'click' right away, there are many different kinds of meetings within NA/AA as well as different recovery programs.  I would recommend trying out as many as possible to see what the best fit is.
I know for me personally, I was only comfortable in women's only meetings, and I preferred SMART recovery to NA.  But that's just ME.
This is all about YOU and YOUR recovery.  I'm so happy to hear you're taking this step towards healing.

Hiy congrats on 12 days your off to a great start I only wish everbody here would go and Sara is right evey body is nervos on there first meeting it is normal  but I say this a lot but there is nothing better you can do to shore up your recovery let us know how it turns out

We are all nervous to walk into the rooms the first time.  Shoulders back, head held high and walk thru those doors.........

its not as bad as it seems, It took me 4 months to have the courage to step foot in the rooms, after i did i havent left its been 8-9 months and I have missed 4 meetings
I go daily thats just me I used daily why not go
any way it is life changing just listen we are not alone
