Need to know about benadrrly reacting w/methadone!

He everyone I am new to this forum, and have a crazy question!   I have been in methadone treatment for about 3 yaers now, and recently transferred to a new clinic.  I have been taking benedrlyl otc for years now for my allergies, and recently started taking a diuretic water pill otc. I took a drug test (we are required to take one to two a month!), and failed for benzo's! I found it odd b/c I hadn't taken any and requested it to be sent to the lab again for it to be spun tested.  What I am asking (if anyone can help me and maybe even offer some suggestions) can benadryl counterreact w/methadone? Could the diuretic take a play in the false positive in a drug test? I need some help w/this! Please I am asking anyone that can help me w/any comments, suggestions, websites, answers, etc. My counsilor has treated me like **** since I have started this clinic! I think that she just has it out for me, and I need to find out what I can to prove them (her and the doctor!) wrong!  I know that the spintest will prove them wrong but I also wants some hardcore facts to show to them! Renee ,I agree with Penelope see if you can switch counselors you dont have to put up with being treated badly.

I took benadryl while I was on methadone & my ua,s always came back clean, I really cant figure out why this would have happened with you? Maybe someone else on the forum can better answer this question, as Im unsure? Regarding your counselor treating you poorly, if this continues can you switch counselors? This was a option at my old clinic. Good Luck Penelope

This is really something to ask a pharmacist ...I don't think anyone here has the knowledge to answer it.I bet if  you ask your pharmacist he/she can help.
