Need help!

Wow, so I haven't been on here in 3 years. Time has flown. I had about 18 months clean and relapses. I've tapered down to 10mg of methadone a day. I'm gonna jump to 5 tomorrow. I only have about 7 pills left. (10mg)
Any advice on how I should taper? What can I take to lessen the withdrawal?

I am a bit confused here.....Are you getting these from a doctor/clinic?

Also imodium for stomach - most people don't know it is an opioid

I've only taperedmoff suboxone but I'll say just play it by ear - try like 3m in morning and if u could make it to the night then take 3mg at night keep on gradually going down - u could always take another piece if it isn't enough - remember ur not gonna feel 100% if ur tapering but u should be good enough to get by - tough it out stay strong !!

Yea. It's ok. We are very misunderstood addicts. I think we really have the hardest time understanding ourselves because we will always go back if we are not going forward. There is no middle ground for us. U can vent all u need to. Stay strong.

I stopped everything yesterday.

I went on a Vodka binge for a year I went on a mthadone binge for a year I went on a Suboxone binge for a year then last but not least a Xanax/Alcohol binge for a year and ust relapsed and went on a 2-3 week alcohol/xanax binge.

I went cold turkey after being on methadone for almost a year but that was when they had the 40mg disc's so I'm not familiar with tapering.

drop 1 mg every week or couple days til u run out?

I feel for you but I can't really help as I've always took the more dangerous  dumb route of going cold turkey on my drugs but I wish you the best and I'm sure someone will comment with help soon,good luck.
