Day 5 on SUB

Hope everyone is doing well. This isn't a question, just whats going through my head.
As for me, its now day 5 on the sub. The wd's from the pills are totoally gone. I got a dr's appt today. But holy sh** , I feel like a freakin junkie on this stuff. I keep nodding off, my eyes are half closed, my pupils are pin points, still have the nausea, and holy ****, the heartburn !!, not so much the headaches anymore, but the over all feeling of taking way too many watsons. I know it's pretty bad for me to say this as i'm on the sub to stop the pills, but, like, i took a 2mg sub at midnight, felt fine all day, but couldn't wait the 12 hours for the next dose, even after what i just wrote above. I kept looking at the clock till it was around noon to take a 6mg sub, just to get that "normal' feeling like why we take the vics, percs, ect in the first place. I can function on the pills, play with the kids, have fun, make jokes, be more productive, etc. And now after reading what just about everyone wrote about the wd's from the sub is 100x worse than going cold turkey from the pills !!!. AND THIS IS ONLY DAY 5 !!...

Mdan,  Yes and ditto to Refusingbondage-----  Stay strong ---  You can get through this and I hope you will stick to your plan of getting off Sub very quickly --  You are going to feel so much better when you finally kick everything - even the Sub --- The real you will return and you are going to be just fine.  Man, the 6 mg part really scares me -- that is a huge dose.  I was on 140 mg Oxy and only took 2 mg of Sub, but I guess everyone is different --- I just want you to be armed with knowledge so you are prepared for what lies ahead.  Man, we really do with you the very best .  Please continue to post on this site --- it will help you.

Hey.  The reason your checking the clock is because like all of us, you are an addict.  You should really only be taking the sub once a day, when you first wake up.  What time do you go to sleep at night ??  Why take it at midnight, when your just going to go to sleep?   Suggestion - again - dont take a midnight dose.  Just go to bed.  Take the dose when you first wake up and try to hold out until the next morning when you wake up.  By day 5 your dosage should be regulated.  You should know exactly how much --or really how LITTLE you need to make it through the day and you should be thinking about your taper.. are you planning a short term taper or long??  Either way my friend, you will have to get yourself out of the habit of looking at the clock, counting, etc and just prepare yourself for tapering and quitting..A lot of this has to do with self control and believe me I KNOW its hard.. try your best to figure out the exact smallest amount you need and then maybe have someone hold the pills for you.... Is that possible?
