You have the perfect opportunity to start a job without an addiction. I have screwed up multiple jobs because of my addiction...don't let that happen to you. Suffer the discomfort while you have the time now. You won't feel 100 percent when you start but the worst will soon be over at that point. IBKleen basically said it all but this is something I know all to well...don't let drugs screw up your professional life. I have a ton of experience but because I have screwed up so many jobs because of pills I know the damage it can cause. Get it done now and take your new job as a welcome distraction.....you will do great... Just stick to it and don't let pills screw up a great opportunity....

Hi & Welcome,

I am sorry it took so long to answer your post. It is slow around here on the weekends.

Anyway, if you have a week to do a detox before starting your job then start now. You will be sick for 5 days  or so but it is very doable. Since you said you did this before you know what to expect. Flu like symptoms is the best way to describe it.

Once you start your detox come on and ask questions right here in this post and someone will help you through this. This is a great community for support. Congratulations on getting clean. Hope to see you stick around.
