does everyone feel paws i read a post bout your not completly good for 2 years or somthing ahh i was wondering could somone get over it in like 4 months ect when i took pills i took um right when i got up and didnt anymore it addicted to tramadol right now im currently prescribed anti depresents i thought itll help me get through the addiction and im on day seven and i feeel alot beter already then day 1

Like most of the issues here, the PAWS is unique to the individual. Depends on doc, length of use, amount of use, and mental situation in toto.......clinically PAWS can last from 6-18 months. It sounds to me that replacing the lost amino acids (ala Thomas Recipe) is very important to the course of PAWS. I am not a fan of antidepressants, but there is a time and place for them. phlyon LOL have ya read the cravings list in my journals... i got em from my angel cathy. they help alot, and many people ,me incuded, dont know that cravings are time limited,and usually caused by a trigger, check it out shawtie.. much love

the anti depres that im taking is citopram its generic celexa do you no if  that would be traded one addiction for another

yeah i no like i feel less anxious and stuff but its still there

I would take a close look at the anti depressants, it might be one addiction for another, and I have read the W/Ds can be worse. Please do not take this as a statement of fact.

I am even stopping the sleeping pills as I feel and have been advised they can also disrupt the brains transmitters and cause prolonged W/Ds.

I wonder too....I'm in the same boat, and I too feel much much better....could the antidepressents carry us through the PAWS without much pain and suffering?  I still crave intensely.... the panic attacks seem to be subsiding a little......???? anyone? anyone?  I feel I may get some slack fo rnot taking a more natural approach, but oh well, to each his own, right?
