The fatigue and motivation is hard to get back...takes time...i just kinda dragged around for moths i hate to say and i dont want to be negative...just a fact...after a couple of weeks when my enrgy did not return i really took a good look at the vitamin protocols and stepped up to the plate with them it has helped
600 mgs before the infamous 6 month slow taper...
How much tramadol were you taking each day? I would just do the Ambien CR, and not the other stuff. If your not using the Ambien CR, and just Ambien...I would swtich to the CR. It helps you sleep longer (from experience). The benadryl is probably what is causing the "fog" the next day. You could also try clondidine for a week or two, .1mg twice per day. It will help you sleep at night, as well. I have had luck with the clonidine and am using the Ambien CR right now as I taper down.
Was really feeling blue and restless today while forgetting that I was only on day 8 of detox from tramadol. After 4 1/2 years of self medicating and feeling jacked-up it's odd feeling differently...especially considering the amount of sleeping aids and klonopin I've been taking to deal with the wd's and sleep issue.
Trying to keep the klonopin usage from dramatically increasing knowing that that will be another devil drug that will have to be managed downward later on...I don't really know of any logical alternatives to deal with this ongoing anxiety/sleep issues. Taking Benedryl with Klonpin and ambien (3 drugs) instead of just the prior 2 (K + T) must certainly be fogging my mind and body and depressing my mood. Maybe cutting out the Ambien and just working with the benedryl (helps with anxiety and sleep) and Klonopin while my body is still detoxing from the T is a logical alternative. Just as long as I'm getting some sleep I should be ok...just not sure how much this ole bran can continue to get hammered and still be able to recover.
Anyway, re-read the Paws document and saw that most of thos PAW symptoms were what I regularly felt before all of this med usage anyway...so I'm cdrtainly not going to obsess about some of the symptoms but instead keep it simple and try to keep tapering down on ALL current aids and just deal with it on life's terms. But yeah...easier said than done....LOLOL
Again, thanks for listening and the great input, always trying to keep an open ear...when I can!
I'm, at 38 days and still get that a little, try to put your mind somplace else and think of better day to come as they will. PROMISE!
After 5 months, I still remember to this day my worst days. For some reason, they were day 7 & 8, then again day 16 & 17. Don't know why.
I think you're experiencing the normal for U.
You're doing good.
wasn't tramadol your DOC? i had depression after i quit the pills. i'm impressed you cut the lawn after only 8 days. tyl. pm helped me with sleep.
Day 8 was one of the worst for me, then hit me bad again on day 16 with good and bad mixed in. Just give it more time you can do it.
ya man its totally normal my day 9 felt like day 3. Its just the way it goes im on 39 days and still get stymptons there not as hard as first two weeks but there still symptons. Just hang in there it gets better.
You're not alone with such symptoms & thoughts. I used a long time. I don't know about you. I experienced such for several weeks, and my energy level isn't up to par yet. You know lack of sleep is going to cause trouble in anybody. You've got to get some sleep, so do what works best in that department. I finally got to being able to use otc sleep aids with some success after about 3 weeks in. You'll do OK. What you feel is not out of the ordinary.

Yes, it is possible. The sleep aids wouldnt give you that entire list of problems, but all are w/d symptoms. Do some more reading on PAWS and become familiar with the enemy....it was my experience that those episodes just kept getting fewer and further between as time went by ....
