Welcome to the forum.
This is an old thread...repost your question (top of page..hit "post a question " button).
I'm afraid you may get overlooked here...so repost and we'll see you out in the forum.

If you are on day 3 with no pills...you shoudl be turning the corner anytime...days 3 & 4 are the worst for most people.

Take HOT baths....those really help!

thanks a lot for all of your support everyone. I have been taking vicodin for about a year taking about 6-8 750's a day and I know its not a lot but I don't get high from them they just help me feel normal. Ya know?. But I went today without them and it was pretty hard. I was extremely antsy and feeling hot and cold flushes and couldn't harldy fall asleep last night. Is there a detox drink that I can take to help start or something else to help other than taking vic's

welcome, congrats for wanting to get your life back....how many are you taking a day?
and for how long?
You can taper which can make the w/d's much easier..But most of us cannot taper..
Can you take time off of work to go c/t?  u can say you have the flu and would need a week, the worst is over after 5 days usually but everyone is differnt...
Also alot have had success going on sub...
That is pretty much your options.
Also there is the thomas receipe and that is in some members profiles..We are here to help you anyway we can

I am 8 days sober of lorcets. Some are stronger than others but I had to go to a hospital for detox. And I am still getting cravings but I have to think about what I went thru to get off.
