One Week Clean Thnaks

Well I have made it to the 7 day mark and am starting to feel like I can really do this.  I just wanted to thank everyone for all you support, help and tips to get this far.

Congrads! 1 week down.... I know this is a battle that you will be fighting forever but I really struggled the most with that first week.... Now I have days that are harder than others but once I make it through that day, that hour even.... I feel better. That first week felt like it was never gonna end..... You made it! Yay! Great job on gettin into the aftercare thing.... It will help you more than ever on those rough days...

Goin' to a meetin'? That's great. Your story certainly resonates with me. Same story actually. Time line and all. (20 yrs). By God's Grace I have been given more than one chance at this. I wish you well.

I forgot to add that I am going to my first N/A meeting today.  After reading all of your post I know I should do all I can to keep myself celan.  I am very nervous because I was a long term member of A/A when I quit drinking over 20 years ago. and now I feel like I am staring over.  The meeting is a few blocks from my office around lunch time.  I will let you know how I make out.
