I just got back from neurologist she put me on fioricet , does anyone have any experience with this medicine. I was put on it for headaches. Thanks in advance guys , I have Been to other places. On this site but you guys are so fast with responding. Kudos to everyone!!!

i am addicted and it sneaks up on you and before you know it the situation is out of control. Abide by the warning lable and do not up your dosage best of luch

ive heard that you can definitely get addicted so be careful. I actually don't take it anymore once I heard that, my now husband is a recovering addict and when he told me that (i knew NOTHING about drugs or even prescription meds before him...) I stopped taking it. I would use it if the headache/migraine wasnt bad enough to take Imitrex. It worked well for me.... but dont take too much...it did not make me feel "high" either....

Fioricet works wonders for my headaches.  I have heard of people become addicted to it because of the Butalbital.  It doesn't give me a high at all it just takes the headache away so for me addiction wasn't an issue.  Good luck.
