immodium, an over the counter pain killer, lots of water or gatorade and if he cannot sleep try an over the counter sleep aid, green tea too with honey if he likes it, it has alot of antioxidants
what a great g/f you are. i suggest looking in the health pages to the right and trying the aminos and the thomas recipe. also hot baths and bananas for the rls. the best thing he do is exercise. i know it seems impossible but it helps the most. also get to na/aa meetings or into some counselling. it is very important to long term recovery. best of luck to you n him.
