And feel likee i used to with bad withdrawls, not as bad , but still didnt Sleep the weekend, now they gave me a 5 day supply of clonodine.(which is a fail for me initself.) . But i was wondering If this helped anyone. Specifically after years of snorting oxys them getting on  suboxone

I think I get plenty of excercise at work. It's hard enough, I don't think I can add any excercising for awhile

Hey I went through a very, very long difficult Opiate detox about 4 years ago. During the first 10 days of physical withdrawal sypmtoms I can only recommend medication for sleep, but it sounds as if you're past that, what worked for me was work, work, work. I was in a long term intensive rehab though. It sounds like you work and have a life so the only thing I can recommend you is extra activity apart from work, now if jogging and weight lifting isn't your thing then I can highly recommend Yoga of all types. Not only do you use your body but you also release the same endorphins as Opiates and makes you feel happier and you'll sleep great. If yoga's not your thing then I highly suggest a long walk before you go to bed, it calms you down and gives your body a surprisingly good exercise. Cheers and good luck and just think there are thousands of Opiate addicts out there who deeply wish they were in the stage you're in, passed the tortuous physical hell!!

well lots of congratulations are in order. that is great. so the subs did help you as they were supposed to, they kept you off the opiates and helped you gain control of your life. that is awesome.
i would definitely recommend some counseling. one on one with therapist, psychologist,
support groups, na/aa,church, also they have christian based support groups such as celebrate recovery or salvation army. it will really help you to be a recovering addict and not an active one.  please look into it. jeep on keeping on

Thanks guys! The suboxone helped its just irritating I thought I was done with withdrawls for   good. In the little over the year I've been on subs I bought a house got engaged, broke ties with all dealers. **** I just got my drivers license this year. I was awful I'm 29 now Lol.

The only counseling I did was over the phone twice a week for 3 months. And she wasn't very knowledgable.

I've been doing alot of reading on this forum and what I've heard about suboxone is that it is even harder to detox from than oxys.  The wd's are just as bad and last longer.  Keep posting on the forum and someone with more experience will surely offer up their advice.

As far as the clonodine is concerned you mentioned its a fail in itself, use it because it does help.  It may not seem like its doing anything but it is.  I am on day 5 CT off of oxys, I too was snorting them 120 plus mg per day with percs mixed in throughout the day.  I tried to detox a few times before without clonodine but never got passed 2 days, this time i went to my doctor and that is what he gave me with a few diazapam and I noticed the difference.  Dont get me wrong It was still a really brutal first 3 days but here i am now on day five, longest Ive been sober in 7 years.

Anyway I wish you the best of luck and I hope you can push through as well.  Keep posting as well.  God bless.

i dont like subs or methadone it is just switching addictions and the doctors dont inform and educate people enough about them. did you go to attend any counseling when you were on the subs? support groups,na/aa, or one on one counseling?? yes there are definitely withdrawals and detox from them. it is still toxins and poisons that need to be cleansed out of your body.
the facebook icon is only when you post a question. i dont think you can remove it.
make sure you drink alot, dehydration is the worst part of detoxing.
keep posting.

No i didnt prepare and was under the impression suboxone wds Were very very mild. I held a job the whole time i was junked   out on oxys, and i had to leave 2 hrs. After i got to work.maybe i havent experienced wds for a while and it made me soft! Who knows. But i picked them up and i feel better.

Whats the point of suboxone, i spent thousands on the medicine and ua's to just prolong withdrawls!

do you get any supplies to help with your detox? immodium for the bathroom issues, magnesium and potassium for rls, lots of fluids, gatorade, juices, vitamin water, take hot baths for aches, sleep is hard to come by during detox. just try to relax, you can take valerian root, melatonin, listen to music, watch tv, pray, read, make sure you try to get some exercise in to help your endrophins to start to produce again.
blessings to you
