help with ultram withdrawal

I have been taking around 300 mg of ultram a day for quite some time. I took my last dose on Sunday evening. I did not use anything on monday, tuesday or wednesday and the withdrawals were horrible. I screwed up yesterday and took three lortab 7.5's. My question is will i now have to start the withdrawals over or will i be where i left off?

There is a tramadol recovery forum where posters are and were withdrawing from tramadol. It has its own problems because it is an antidepressant as well and ct causes severe depression. No one has had seizures from ct but from too much tramadol.Check out the Tramadol and Ultram recovery site and everyone will be helpful there.I also post there and will see you there.

No, you will not have to start over completely.  I started last week, Wed...but had some of my DOC (vikes) over the weekend.  Started again on Monday and it was nothing like Thurs and Fri of the week before.  Still tough, but not as bad.  As long as you are putting less in, than you are taking out...you should feel better.  Again, there will be discomfort regardless.  Try not to take any...by everyone's accounts...and my own...day 4 is a turning point...as it transitions into day 5.

Jump on in...you can do it...Post as often as you like...it has kept me going!!

I have never heard of seizures with Ultram withdrawal.  I have never had seizures with Ultram withdrawal.  I know Xanax can cause seizures if you cold turkey but Ultram??

Tramadol needs to be tapered.  There are risks of seizures just stopping them.
