Very interesting! No I haven't but my husband used to shove those pills in my mouth after I had my thyroid removed and was a jello ball...(Great- theres an ad for marijuana below this box..)! I will have my doc run some blood tests again. Thanks and get well!
You know, I have had similar pain syndrome, starting with the birth of my first. It has never been diagnosed, though I was diagnosed with Crohn's and widespread, arthritic pain can go along with that, sometimes even being the primary complaint. I keep thinking if it returns again, I'm probably going to get a fibro diagnosis.
But, so far, as soon as it comes on, it goes away. It took about a year last time, and involved significant pain, including intense pain and restriction of movement from costochondritis, but also involving pain in all parts of my body, and a gel effect when I stopped moving.
All I can tell you is that you should leave the possibility open in your mind that the pain may leave. I had a doctor tell me that once and it made me feel better :) It also turned out that I was very deficient in vitamin D and that may have been responsible for part (but not all) of it. Not to oversimplify things, but had your D levels checked?
yeah..been bipolar for last 20 years at least, so it's just my life..just truckin along best i can taking my meds...my biggest complaint is my muscle pain...i work out, stretch, get massage, take nsaids, etc...but the pain is dibilitating! i have been through physical therapy, tried difft meds, the only thing that eases the pain is heat and tramadol :( but i don't want to be addicted. I had a relationship with a heroin addict when i was 20 about 15 years ago...and never want to go through that. I have nightmares still.. Can someone tell me what I can do for the pain? I'm afraid its fibro..but i will never admit it
thanks, yes i will call him asap..well i took only a couple hundred mg over the last few days, so i might not be addicted after all! Phew
I agree. I lost someone to bipolar disorder and don't ever want to underestimate it. I hope you will talk to your doctor.
Your best bet right now would be to talk with your doctor and come up with a taper plan. With being bipolar we want you to be safe.
