He upped your dose to 3 a day... 3 pills or strips a day? Or 3 mg per day. What mg are the pills or strips that you are taking?

It never made me feel right either. I am day 14 clean now. It is the opiate blocker in it that might be affecting you. It always made me feel like my brain was on fire. well not that bad but it was never good. I knew I was not going to be on it for long which for me was six months but for you I would not take it longer than 1 month and start very low. 1mg or .50 a day. Also if you did not detox of your drug for at least 2 days before you took the Sub you will feel horrible. It throws you though detox right away. And once you start you need to taper very very low to get off. so if you start at 1mg a day then go as low as .10 and taper as quick as you can. If you do this you will though very low detox or wothdrawl.

Are you taking the Sub correctly?  It does work quite well so you either need to adjust the dose or give it a few more days. Talk to the doctor about what you're feeling right now and remember, when you take Sub you cannot take it with another opiate.  Stay in touch-

Hi and welcome. I would suggest that you taper the Roxies and avoid the Subs altogether. From what I've read on here, the Subs are way worse to come off of than Roxies. The w/d symptoms will last longer when you eventually try to stop the Subs. There is no getting around not feeling bad. You're eventually going to have to detox and your body is going to hurt for a little while. For me it took a couple of days, like a bad case of the flu (actually I think the flu may have been worse the last time I had it:). I think you need to plan to detox around a time when you can miss a couple days of work...when we get food poisoning or the flu we have to miss work then, right? This is so important for you to do and if you can plan a couple of days off (maybe 4 in a row) you can do this without using the Subs. Good luck and keep us posted...we're cheering for you!

I can't understand why Subs wouldn't work for you, the only thing that springs to mind is you mixed the with the occasional Roxy, if so this will through you in a spin for sure! Try giving the subs a chance to even out, but I must be honest this is the first I've heard anyone say they still feel rough after taking them, unless your dose is way low and you need it upped to help you manage. Hope you find the answers your looking for with the Dr. Best of luck to you.

Hey, congrats on taking your life back...! It's the best gift you can give yourself...So u no longer take the roxies?? Or are u still taking them and also trying the detox meds? I don't think that there is a magic pill that makes it all better... I could be wrong but if one exists I haven't heard of it...You are bound to feel some discomfort.... Believe it or not working while detoxing is good for you. If you can just get through a few days of the "flu" your home free....Where there's a will, there's a way!! If u really want to be pill free you CAN stop and live through it..Have you thought of tapering? Is that an option for you?
