hello unsuccesful spinal fusion 12yrs ago been on 4 tabs of vicodin hp4 about 4 yrs,recently walked around with a large kidney stone sick for a few weeks had it treated was honest with all drs and hospital personnel anyway treated like garbage in hospital,i get my rx,s in 3 month supply came up i&half month short between the vomitting 4 aut 15 days with the kidney problem {they used shockwave &a stent 2 blow up the stone i dont know how 2 approach my dr with the truth i believei should be honest but dont know what will become of it scaredv 2 death  !!anyone know what 2 expect or been thtrough this !!maybe i should say the dog ate them  lol but really i did up my usage but 2 urologists i told them what i used  i didnt ask them 4 any med s im lost here i need an honest answer PLEASE

I too have severe back issues. It is so wierd how I'm 6 months without anything and my pain is soo much better. Who would have thought the pills were making me hurt worse

Even if your doctor reacts in a less then helpful way, which unfortunately could happen, you are still WAY better off by telling the truth to him/her as Sara says.  Telling your secret is a crucial aspect to getting clean.

I want to no way minimize your pain.  All I want to say is that for me, and only me, my pain level is SO much better now I am off the hydro for 3 plus months.  There was rebound pain, and it wasn't fun, but now I am so much better off.  I too have significant back and body injuries/issues, but I can do more now and get into a gym where it was off and on before.  Just a thought, good luck.
