clean cutting an oxy is not the same as crushing it... it keeps the time release if you clean cut it... sorry

there are different types of oxy's.  IE...... oxycontin ,and oxycodone. percs are oxy's. its a good read, but in the end it is synthetically derived from thebaine, and so is hydrocodone(norcos/vikes)

If you are cutting one pill into pieces then the slow release effect isnt there. It becomes just like any other pill that will last about 4-6 hours. By cutting them they get in your system faster and leave faster.. By only using oxy once a day at nite off and on I think you dodged the bullet this time. As I stated before you can take a medication for weeks before your body becomes addicted. Physical addiction and mental addiction are two seperate things. Physical addiction is when your body needs the drugs to function properly. When the body goes without it goes into withdrawal. Mental addiction is when you want the drug because it makes you feel good and you just like it and crave it. Hopefully in your case you dont have the physical addiction yet. Stop now PLEASE and get some help for the mental addiction so you dont end up like the rest of us. WD is no laughing matter. It isnt cool and it doesnt make you a tough guy. It isnt like on T.V were you withdrawal for a day, go to sleep and wake up all better. It is a week of pure physical suffering and months of mental suffering and cravings. No one here wants to see anyone go thru this hell if it is avoidable. Please listen to everone and get some help before you are just another addict looking for help with your withdrawals.

You are rite lee, There is more than one kind of addiction. Your body may not be addicted but you diffinately have a problem with the drugs. So please stop now while things are still good. You dont want the WD. A na program would be a good thing for you.

If you were taking unprescribed opiates every day for a year - you are certainly addicted. Perhaps you are just LUCKY and should be reeeeeeeally happy to have gotten through with no suffering (1 in a million odds - play the lottery huh!) SOOOO that being said - best not to push it .. I dont think you will be as lucky next time.. count your blessings and work to stay off drugs.

Anyway - congrats on 2 days!  Keep it up and enjoy life sober.

Well with oxy it usually starts about 12-16 hours after last dose. Oxy is a slow released drug so it stays in there a longer than most drugs. Oxy withdrawals start out with lots of yawning and being very tired. Then the headache comes. If you havent gotten any withdrawals after 2 days you must not have been taken them on a regular bases for the body to become addicted to them. That or you must always feel like **** so you dont notice it....LOL. 80mg of oxy in a day is hardly anything. Thats only 4 20mg a day. If taken everyday you will become addicted tho and you will go thru withdrawals. In order for your body to become addicted you would have to take them on a regular bases for a while. You can take a medication for weeks on a regular bases and not get addicted. Sounds like maybe your off and on periods were long enough to escape the addiction. Please keep posting as i am very curious in what happens next. And dont take anymore oxy, you may have escaped a huge bullet!!!
