insomnia, restless leg

What can be done with this restless leg/body that won't let me get the sleep I so desperately need.  Ugh Day 1 is just draaaaging.  I have tried benedryl and ativan. I even tried the elliptical for 30 minutes.  any other suggestions?  I also tried the walgreens rsl.  It just feel worse and it's probably because I'm freakin exhausted but can't sleep!

Stay away from Benadryl!! It made me SO much more anxious!! The others gave good advice, but they also have this stuff you can try for the restless leg called Hylands resteless leg. They sell it at walgreens.  Alot of members said it helped them alot. This doesnt last forever, it does get better! Just be patient with your body and give it time to heal!

hi...same suggestion from me...hot hot baths with epsom salts.....melatonin or Alteril otc....good luck!  hang in there it DOES get better!!  keep posting if you need any help!!!

sleepytime tea and wrap legs in warm towels heated in the microwave as you go to bed. Hang in there. This won't last to long. Your doing GREAT!

Take a HOT bath, it will help a lot... I took 3 to 4 hot baths my first 3 days and it helped.
