I am glad to hear you are doing a bit better. Maybe there is a light at the end of the tunnel?

keep drinking fluids and eat lightly if possible.  A lot of people on here recommend protein shakes like whey powder protein or even ensure, boost, carnation insant breakfast...

have you tried the epsom salt baths?  I find that they help my mind too, helps slow things down a bit.

keep posting and hang in there,
Phoenix

Yeah I was on those after my dad passed and I'd just take one if the attacks were real bad. They make me sleepy so I don't like taking them. Sorry you was worried I've been in my own world today

I'm so glad to hear from you.  I was worried.
It sounds like you are doing everything you can.
Be careful of the Xanax.  Just take it when the anxiety is super bad.
It's addictive and the withdrawals can be brutal.
Keep us updated.

Valerian root helps with anxiety.  It's in the drug stores or at Walmart and it's kept with the vitamins.  Did you mention you had visteril?  It is supposed to help with anxiety as well.

Also deep breathing can REALLY help.  Make sure your room is dark and slowly breathe in through your nose, hold it for about 4 seconds and exhale through your mouth slowly.
Keep repeating this and it will calm you down.

Try it for a bit and let me know how you're doing.  I know anxiety really is horrible.

I understand completely what you are going through.  Just remember you are a good chunk if the way there and an end will be in sight sooner than later.

The steamy hot Epsom salt baths are a good idea.  I find that is the best treatment,  keep drinking fluids.

Can anyone go yo the store for you?  Do you have any melatonin or valerian you can take yo help you get through the nights?

Please keep posting and feel free to message me..,

Hey Twisted - I understand the kid thing.  I have a 3 & 6 year old and it does make this process a bit tougher.  In the beginning I had blown up at them for the littlest of things and then felt like crap for hours after.  I use them though for strength in getting through this.  You will be a better father after this journey through Dante's Inferno.

Just wanted to lend my support and say keep it up!  I am detoxing too (from fentanyl--a longer taper til I jump since my dose was insanely high)

wd'ing is no fun now matter how you slice it.  remember to push fluids so you dont' get dehydrated.  also, I take Emergen C to give me a dose of vitamins esp C.  Calcium/Magnesium/Zinc is helpful for achy bones and restless legs.  (I know you dont' feel like leaving the house but if someone can run out for you...)

also, it helps me to write out my motivation for stopping and posting it everywhere I can see it.  Keeps your eyes on the prize so to speak,

keep up the good work,

Phoenix
