Withdraws

Today is my 11th day clean and it started out a good day and then went down hill.Is it normal for me to have cravings for the drug like I did today?It was horrible I felt like it was day one again being tired and not wanting to move.But I made it threw and for that I am proud!!But is it normal to feel like that for it to be a rollercoaster??

Ditto on what bikerdad said...it is very normal...I think it took over a month before I was back to my normal self....maybe a little longer...Just take it 1 day at a time....dont get discouraged...You are doing great...it WILL get better...We didnt become addicts overnight and we cant get totally clean and back to normal overnight...Just hang on....keep doing what your doing....Congrats

The cravings are the longest part of it. It takes a while to stop the craving. Thats why there is aa and na out there. As for being tired , it could be 1-3 months to get your new energy . Eat good and excersise. It will come along. Your brain is still new to the new you. Congrats on day 11, keep strong and everything will fall in place.
