Hi there! I think you should find another doctor.  If he is having you take 3 slow release morphine A DAY plus another 15 mg, 6 times a day, then you are over-medicated in my opinion.  It's one thing if you are just taking that much without your doc knowing it.  That is what a lot of us did!  Me for one!  But if he is prescribing that much, then I would talk with someone else.  It sounds high to me.  An addictionologist could help you with a taper plan to get you off of them safely, but it will take some time.  If you need the surgery soon, you may have to do something different, like inpatient detox.  That would be the safest and easiest way to come off of that high of a dose!

It won't be fun, but you can do it!

Hi~  This doesn't sound right at all.  A doctor won't help you get off the MS? And you can't have surgery because of the MS?   Makes no sense. Geez!  So,you take a total of
270mg a day.  You need to begin tapering that, slowly. But,seriously, you should be monitored by a doctor. Is there another one you can see?  Check for an addictionologist
in your area.  Sorry for your situation but hang in there. There's help somewhere!
Keep posting~
