Withdrawals still present

I am still detoxing from loritabs. Today is day 10. I am still having some pretty serious withdrawals. I have never been through detox before and have just going on what I have heard some people have say. I was taking some leftover tramadol that I had. Now, after researching, I realize that can become addictive, even though I was told they were non narcotic by my doc and pharmacist.. I had only taken one 50mg each day. I decided not to take one today because I don't want to be on anything. My withdrawal symptoms came back hard. How can tramadol be affecting my detox.

We try and escape the withdrawal symptoms but end up making things worse.  Just go with it now and you will feel better soon.  It may not be too bad.  At the beach gave good advice at what to do.  Keep posting if you have any questions and we will get you through this.

that's great you were able to take some time off work. drink a lot of fluids to help flush out the toxins. use immodium for your stomach issues, take hot baths or showers, moving around as much as possible,
the sadness/depression are another withdrawal symptom.
you weren't taking a very high dose. try to keep yourself busy.
you will start to feel better now that you have stopped everything.
do you live in a warm climate? if so get some sunshine also that will help.
no sunshine where I live, severe blizzard. stinks.
keep posting for support and any questions you have.
stay strong. keep the faith.

Oh, atthebeach, my symptoms are chills, sweating, lethargic, some stomach issues. I seem to be getting better then they come back. i have also been crying today, which the sadness/depression is a new symptom. i now realize the tramadol was preventing full detox. I will ditch it. I have gotten time off work to deal with this, so hopefully I will feel better in a couple days.

I was taking up to anywhere from 5-8 7.5 or 10s a day. I am really bummed I have delayed the detox, again. . I really had no idea the trams had any kind of opiate in them. Thanks guys :)

you also  had taken methadone during your "detox". no more pills.
stay away from all your "friends".
this is why your withdrawal are still so severe at 11 days.
you can do this.
take hot baths or showers. no more self medicating. only Tylenol, advil or motrin. okay?
it will get better, keep moving forward.

Yes, unfortunately the trams have just delayed the withdrawals.  Once you stop taking them you will start to recover.  Give yourself a few days and the worst part will be over.

hi, tramadol is a semi synthetic opiate, by taking them you have prolonged your detox. definitely ditch the trams. are you keeping hydrated and eating? try moving around as much as possible. what kind of symptoms are you having?
so now that you stopped taking the tramadol you are now detoxing.
how much loritabs were you taking?

You know I was having some pretty bad withdrawls still at 33 days off oxys, I took oxys just recently for my back pain and I am almost two Weeks off... Out side of mental fog and occasionally chills I am doing better. It takes time for our bodys to adjust, I was really having a hard time with it lasting so long but I also realized I was past the worst part. And in there it dose get better. I dont know about lortabs but someone will be able to tell you more on that.
