opana withdrawl

I have been on Opana for a year now and have weaned down from 50mg/day to 15.The dosing parameters are minimum 5mg/day to max 180mg/day.I havent taken more than 15 mg in a 24 hour period for a few days now and have one 5 mg pill left.Am I going to get dopesick? or at that low dosage will it all be in my head?Competition for my job is hard right now and I dont want to loose it because I made myself sick.Anyone please help?

Well you were right.I made it 26 hours and was getting really sick.I went to the ER and told them what was going on.The Dr.told me 15mg to zero was too big of a jump.So Im back on 15 mg/day for the next 3 days then 10 for 3 days then 5 for 3 days.I went to an NA meeting today and that helped. Im not giving up.

I don't know much abt. Opana,  if it is an opiate, and you have been taking it for any length of time,  then I would say yes, you will get sick.  You may have flu-like symptoms for a few days, and need otc pain meds, and immodium, benadryl,  althought I do not know much abt. the opana, if it is addictive, then chances are you will get sick.  Best wishes
