opiate addiction
Over the last 6 months I have tapered down from about 120mg of oxycodone per day to about 20-30mg oxycontin per day to nothing as of last night about 3am. I want to be done for good and just wanted an honest, realistic answer of how long this whole crappy detox is going to last...

Hey your doing great ! Hang in there. Usually about 7-10 days for the withdrawals to be over. Lack of energy and depression can hang on for a month or so, but please be patient with yourself. It takes time to heal all the damage. It will be sooooo worth it in the long run. It can be the cravings that come later that are the most dificult. Stick with this forum and post anytime you have them. We will help you through this.
