Thanks so much everybody! Ill see a neurologist as soon as I can
You are young and yes we all make mistakes because were human, its how you learn from them that counts. We all support eachother here and its amazing how a few positives words can make you feel. You are doing great at one month. Keep up the good work and YOU CAN make it another month. A positive change in scenery and friends is the biggest key. Best of luck to you.
Congrats on making it this far. You are so youn g and you have your whole life ahead of you.... as for the lights and spots try looking up ocular migraines. You can actually have a migraine with no pain.thats how mine started just the flashing and blinding spots now I get debilitating migraines with them and the only thing that kills the pain for me is excedrine es. Good luck I hope this helped.
Hi and thanks for sharing what must be a painful story. I bet your mother is so happy to have her son back.
Have you received any counseling? We often need to get to the root of our addiction to truly heal and avoid relapse.
I agree with Teresa. You should see a neurologist, just to be safe.
Congrats on your clean time.
Well, Just keep trying. There are jobs out there who overlook the felony convictions. It just take s alitle more work to find! Youve made your mistakes, and in time the will just be a blur in your rearview mirror! You will see!
Thanks so much. Drugs are horrible, I hate them. It just filled a void in my life and it didnt feel right without them. I have been filling out applications like crazy but nothing yet.
you can have migraine with little or no pain, look up ocular migraines
Hi there and welcome! Thank you for sharing your story with us. I know its not easy to tell complete strangers the pitfalls of our lives but for me it can be very healing! I know that being so young and having a felony record wont be easy but dont let it stop you from living a clean and sober life! I know to many people who just give up because they cant find a job so they go back to using. Keep on having faith in whatever it is that keeps you on the right path my friend and dont look back!
As far as your question, I have those alot and have for many years. Atthough they are getting better. Mine may be related to an excessive amount of LSD and Exstacy use when I was younger or maybe the long history of pills, I dont know. But I have been checked out by an optomotrist and a Neuologist and they said I had nothing to worry about. My only advice would be to maybe see a Neurologist since the eye doc said you were fine. Better to be safe than sorry!
Keep on the right path and continue to take your life back! Drugs lead us to nowhere fast and we dont get many chances to rebuild our lives!
Good luck!!
Thanks for your support. I'm trying my best man.
And people on here is FAMILY...they care for you...take the time to check up on you and waht not....Loveable and caring people on here...I'm glad I have a family on here.
IT's always a Fresh start my friend. You're still young. Think positive. You'll be alright...sound cliche but it's true I use to hear people tell me that all the time..keep your head up chest out. Good luck.
Migraines> But I have no headache. And thank you for the support.
i got the same problem you probably have migraines, listen you are on a good track just keep it up dont give in to temptation when you get stressed out think of other coping methods aside from drugging yourself up oh i have the worst pain in my stomach when i first wake up in the morning feels like someone is stabbing me finally found out it was bad gas/bloating/cramps in my stomach GasX helps but doesnt completely fix it good luck buddy
. I was clean! It was great. But then when I went to my MOS school, I started to abuse the drug once more. I eventually go court marshaled from the Corps for an underage drinking violation. Upon returning home, I got hooked to percocet and other opiates. I used very often and was sick when I didnt have it. Well in Sept 2011 I burglarized a house and ended up getting caught for it. I was sentenced on March 7th 2012 to The sussex county Delaware Boot Camp Diversion program. I was put on Lvl 3 hold until the new platoon was to come in. Well I violated because of an offensive touching charge and spent 7 months in prison, completing the program. So here I am, 22 years of age and one month out of jail, SOBER. It's amazing really. I have started going to a local church and really love the people there. God has a purpose for me and I know it took all of that to grab my attention. Praise God. I am having soooo much trouble finding a job but I know God will help me. So Idk what else to say. I get a random pain in my left side underneath my rib cage. I see floaters and a "shower" of them when looking up at the sky or at a white wall. Sometimes I get random flashes of blue light in my peripheral vision. I dont feel mentally sluggish, although at times it IS rather difficult to find the correct word to use while I am speaking. And i sometimes see colors around objects. I went to an optometrist but he said that my eyes are perfectly healthy. Any ideas what this may be? My visison is fine, Im not losing it or anything.
