I don't know the answer to this question. I could research it in the morning though for you. There are people here who've had experience with coke, and hopefully they'll be around then too to help. Hang in there, and if you're feeling really badly, go to the E.R.
I don't think anyone can really answer that - there are too many variables... you really need to seek medical help.
can u find out. its not like really bad or painful its just there also iam borderline diabetic do u think that might effect it
I'm sure jacqui will want to know your weight and how long you've been using. The thing that concerns me is your limbs going numb or tingling. I just know cocaine is really hard on the heart...
Like SableZen said, there really are too many variables...the only thing I could really do as far as that overdose question is concerned is get a general idea of a quantity, and that really wouldn't help much. You sound as though you have w/d s/s, but I'm not clear on whether or not you have stopped using. Considering how you're feeling, and your medical history, all I can honestly say is to get yourself to a doctor for help. If you're only going through w/d, and you'd have to be off the coke for that to happen, then I could tell you what to expect a bit, and offer you my support.
i weigh 120-130 do u know how much will give me an overdose
well today i think i did a lil more that a gram mabe 1.5 or 1.8, and i was just feeling bad but now its kinda going away
That's a pretty high amount. How did you take it?
snorted but i really dont now the exact amout but most likely a lil more than a gram do u think id od if i did more i weigh 130 if that helps
It's not my area of expertise, so I'd have to look something like that up, and even then, it would be a generality. If you really did overdose though, you'd need to go to the E.R. So if you think you did, please go. I'm hoping someone with some firsthand knowledge will be able to help you in the a.m. Panda. I believe one can overdose on cocaine in even small amounts, and people can even develop a tolerance to it so that they'd need more of the drug to get the same effects they were taking it for...that means that if this was not increased, w/d would result, just as if they had stopping taking it altogether. There are lots of problems associated with long-term cocaine use, and your s/s could even be some of them. It's just so hard to say. Again, I'd have to recommend that E.R.
are u saying i should go now? this isnt the first time this has happend after usage of coke mostly i get these feelings and then usualy take a pain relief(advil,tylenol...) my friend said to elevate my feet higher than my head and drink alot of water. would being somewhat diabetic be a problem w/ coke too?
Cocaine can cause many problems in the body, that affect many different organs or organ systems. Add to that diabetes, which also does this, and you're really puttin' your body through a lot. Long-term cocaine use can cause panic attacks, and all the s/s you have. I think you need to trust your gut right now. If you think you're just struggling, as opposed to having a major, new problem, then don't go...but if you're really scared, you should go. You should be evaluated anyway for your health, and you may want help in quitting. The hospital should be able to help you with both. If that's not an option, please see your doctor this morning if you can.
All I can tell you is a gram and a half could very easily be an overdose amount. If you had taken that amount any other way besides snorting - you wouldn't be able to get on the computer right now... If you have any respiratory or heart problems though - get medical help and be on the safe side.
If you aren't going to get medical help, the best thing you can do is get as comfortable as possible and try to relax yourself.
well if i went to the er now that means i must wake my mom and i dont think its too bad but iam kinda scared to sleep
If you're scared, go to the E.R. Please.
well would any thing happen in my sleep do u think, my friend said u probibly shouldent if ur hearts beating fast and if my heads warm like a fever
ive gone through theses feelings before and nothing happend, well that i know about
The thing is, you just never know with cocaine... it can take as little as one or two lines one time and that's enough. Let alone if you are doing over a gram at one time. That is a lot. And the longer you use it, eventually the law of averages will catch up to you and your heart... especially if you have other medical conditions. It's guaranteed.
Give some very serious thought right now to getting medical help please.
would i od if i did more, not gonna i just wanna know in the long run
"Some doctors estimate that 1.2 grams of cocaine, when used orally, and 750-800 milligrams, when used intravenously or by inhaling, is fatal. It is unknown how much cocaine is fatal when sniffed. (Source: Cocaine Vraagbaak, Federatie van Instellingen voor Alcohol en Drugs, 1986). A user sniffs 0.1-0.2 grams of cocaine, i.e., 2-4 lines a night."
------------
"The average lethal dose of intravenous use of cocaine is about 500 milligrams. That doesn't mean, however that a smaller dose is safe. An estimated lethal dose when sniffing cocaine is unknown. These doses are estimates."
-----------
To clarify for you, the term 'fatal' means it causes death 100% on average. The term 'lethal' means it causes death 50% on average.
would it be safe to seek medical help tomarrow, because iam still in high school and i dont just wanna wake my mom and say ive been doin coke and dont want it to eventually not be so serious
