oxycontin addiction

My 19 year old son has an oxycontin addiction.  He has tried to quit cold turkey twice in the past 3 months.  He falls off at about the 6 week mark.   He is at the 6 week mark now.  He told us recently that he wanted to start using again.  We asked him to do a urine test to see if he was using, because we told him we would not allow him to live at our home again if he was using.  WE told him we would get him help if he needed and wanted it.  He refused to test, says he doesn't need help, chose to leave the house and is now living with a former addict possibly relapsed friend.  He is very very angry.  We are scared for his life.  Afraid of his anger.  Afraid to do the wrong thing.  What do we do?

sway1 and others have answered you on your original post. Please try to stay in that post as it is easier to follow. As others have stated in te other post, you can't make him do something he doe not want to do for himself. He needs to get clean because he wants to not because of threats. Have you ever tried doing an intervention? There are many professionals that can help, but he still has to want to do it for himself. I will pray to God that he can help him find his way to sobriety.
