you should definitely go to the psychiatrist. you have dealt with your own problems and now you need some professional help. the meds you are taking are dangerous and toxic for your organs as sudie pointed out. the doctor will most likely give you a anti-depressant. .you should also check into seeing a therapist and discuss your home life and the situation with your husband. you are very lonely, that is never good for anyone. do you work? have any hobbys? attend church? you should get involved with some type of functions so you can interact with others.

hi stephanie, you really need to be looking after yourself, it must be really hard , living like you are , you say you cant disappoint your family, but what about how you feel and your happiness they are important too.
you really are damaging your liver, kidneys and stomache with these pills, please see your gp, he/ she will help you. please see the psychiatrist , you really need help, and you have a lot to gain, god bless.
no still waiting to see psychiatrist next week but scared to go not sure if i will get there ive allways dealt with my own problems all through life i hae a husband but he had an affair around six years ago and havent slept with him since still live together cant dissapiont my family or his mum he is only child she is 84 it would kill her to know this and she loves the children they are all grown up and left home but have two grandchildren i want them to have a proper family as i never
hi hun, yes you do have an addiction you are self-medicating. have you had that psychiatrist appt yet? you came to these forums over one and a half months ago. has anything changed in that time? are you still using as much paracetamol and codeine?
have you tried any support groups they are always free, na/aa,church based groups,
