Opiate withdrawals

I have taken oxy for 3 months. Last Sunday I gave up oxy and had taken 40 vikes till thursday. I took 15 mg of oxy Friday due to pain. Saturday I took one 50 mg tramadol and 1 narco on Sunday. Since then I refuse to take anything more. Very sick. Due to taking the narco and tramadol will I have to start the withdrawal process all over due to caving in?  Any advice or help is a blessing.

Just keep moving as that will help.  You may feel more pain right now as that is rebound pain and it will get better.  Stay positive and focus on getting better.  sara

eat healthy and try doing some exercise when you feel better to boost your endorphines and help you to recover sooner...

Not sure what RLS are?  Took a shower shaved and brushed my teeth. Still have a constant lump in my throat that won't go away. I feel 200 percent better today than I did the last two days. Forcing myself to go out and about today. The pains where so bad I would have easily traded 20 hard kicks to the junk to get out of having WD. Lesson learned. I will never take an opiate again!! EVER. They are not worth it. It's seems as good as they make you feel u have to give that feeling back two fold with misery.

the good thing is that you have not abused them for a long time so the wds won't be very bad... lack of sleep is common and really exhausting but hang in... things wll get better in a couple of days or so... :) try a long hot bath before going to sleep, are you having RLS ?

Yes I see how it seems like I never did stop but have been having WD since Friday. I have not taken anything now for 48 hours. I am very sick and have only slept 5 hours in the last 4 days. I'm determined not to ever take an opiate again. The WD are so severe I would not wish this on my worst enemy.

Hi remold, welcome here !!

More than starting the wd process again because of caving in on Saturday, it would be more acurate saying that you didn't stop taking some kind of opiate at all so you will start the wds , yes, if you quit now... and this is the best decision you could made. Be positive that it is doable so you can do it too :)

have a read at the amino acid protocol on the health pages ( right side of the screen )  there are some advices that can help you, take what you may need and leave the rest...drink a lot of fluids to keep you hydrated ( this is very important), get immodium for the diarrhea, lots of hot baths with epsom salts if you have them will help you to relax and will help your muscles cramps, Hylands restful legs will help you with RLS, maybe some natural help like melatonin for sleep, a good vitamin complex and B's  .... make sure if you are taking any med that there are not interactions with whatever you may take now, be safe ..

keep posting and telling us how you are doing or any question you may have, Good luck, Remold !!! :)
