Is this a symptom?

I am on day 4 quitting 10 to 15 hydro's 10/500mg. I have been shivering for days now, in fact I am shivering almost uncontrollably right now. Sleeping has been few and far between. However this evening I was shivering really bad, so I went to wrap up in some cover. I laid across the bed, and the next thing I know I wake up 4hrs later. I have detoxed several times from this drug, but I have never had this symptom. I have had the chills before but never uncontrollable shivers. Also passing out uncontrollably is very odd to me. Usually I drop off to sleep without knowing it when I am on the hydro's. Never when I am off. Have any of you guys had this happen to you? Is this normal when withdrawing? Also how many more days can I expect to be in withdraws? Like I said I have detoxed several times but I have never made it completely to the end. Thanks.

I have that's WD, i know how you feel, it is the thing I hated the most about CT. Led me to believe the best way (from the Thomas recipe) is to be sedated for the 1st 4 days. The first time I went CT I had the shakes for 7 days. After day 5 it did get better each day but not much. Hang in there and ruff it out because you will only have to go through this again and again because I know that's where I am. Sooner or later we have all have to go through WD. It all comes down to now or later and later always ends up being WORSE then now. Then you if only I had continued it would have been over. KEEP IT UP YOU CAN DO IT.

Uncontrollable shivers is definitely a symptom of w/ds.I would shiver so hard my teeth would literally chatter.Immersing myself in a hot bath or standing under a hot shower brought me some relief.I also used an electric blanket and heating pads. You're at day 4 so you are just about to turn the corner. Most feel some relief of the physical w/ds in 5-8 days.Hang in there.Day 4 is great, congrats.Keep posting and stay strong.....Kim
