26 Hours into WD after relapse

Hello - I need help understanding everything. I stopped using oxy on may 12. I made it 12 days and then used again for 9 days, taking the last of it at 9 am yesterday morning. For background , I had previously used from September 2012 to January 3, 2013. Then I took a month off and started again in February and ran till may 12. While a bulk of all that never went over 50 mg, I jumped for the last 3 weeks in April/may up to 150 mg.

26 hours in right now I only have a runny nose and anxiety. I've actually never had the bathroom issues. Mostly just sweating and tired - and that was when I stopped 3 weeks ago.

The anxiety though is making me feel like garbage. I'm getting emotional and sad. I feel like a loser.  I have a great job and a great wife and children. I feel like I have let them down and they don't even know it. Three weeks ago the anxiety lasted 4-5 days. Since I only used for 9 days, can this be a shorter period?

What should I expect? I have seen the light. I have no desire to use ever again. My wife and I don't do much for fun and we are going to start. She doesn't know about the pills but she does know I've been having anxiety and we are chalking it up to a life filled w all work and no play.

I've also been on Zoloft for a long time. Can that help speed up my recovery?

Generally the worst peak 3-4 days. And by 7-10 days pretty much done.

I would probably feel better telling her but she wouldn't. We've had some other problems with in laws and stuff that this would be too much for her right now. One day.

And I forget - at what point or time frame do WD start to go away?

Oh yeah. I think you will fill much better telling your wife the truth. Does she know about any of the pills?  Or just not about the relapse. Also did you have a refill on a script or get them by other mean. Either way cut your sources!

I think what the problem is not how long your relapse or how much but that at 12 days your body is still not 100% by any means. Probably why you relapsed looking for relief. Not judging I've done it numerous times. So really if you use within a month of quitting I'm pretty sure for most you could restart the wds pretty easily. The anxiety is probably from feeling guilty for relapsing. DON'T. It's part of the process for some of us. I'm on my third clean and hope like he11 I'm smart enough tommake it my last.
I don't think you should expect the wds to be as severe but you will still have them.
Remember when we use our bodies make more receptors hence tolerance. When you remove the substance your body has many more receptors to fill than before addiction. That's is what wds are basically. It takes months for our body to adjust.

Hang in there. Please don't beat yourself up.

Thanks for getting back to me. I was starting to wonder where everyone was. During the 9 days I think I was taking like 50-60 a day. I think two of those days it jumped up a bit. I can't remember - I'm trying to block it out.

I also quit May 12, I find that my main issue on here is that while it's easy to come across support, and encouragement, sometimes it can be difficult to get an answer to your questions. I will give my opinion as best I can..

So this was a 9 day period, I'd imagine it'd be a bit shorter, but some people have said the second WD are rougher, I personally find the second one easier. I don't know about suggesting anti anxiety meds because I am no doctor..but if you only used 9 days you shouldn't be too bad. How much in the 9 day period did you take?
