first stop snorting, that in itself is habit forming (I know, I snorted my Oxy) and take them sublingually like your supposed to. Then taper down as much as you can and jump. I'm jumping this Tuesday from less then a quarter sub a day. I haven't been taking them long so hopefully the wds aren't too bad. You've been on them a long time so a slow taper would probably be best. Are you prescribed them? If so get a doctor to help come up with a good taper. If not drop me a line and I'll inbox you a taper plan. (Were not allowed to post them in the forum) you can do this but first thing is to stop snorting them.., just curious why you'd snort them? Subs don't get me high at all so I can't see why anyone would rail them.. Just wondering...

I can honestly say that sub does not do squat for pain. It's not even indicated for pain, just opiate addiction although over in Europe they've used it fir pain but I can't see how myself.

Methadone is indicated for both pain management and opiate addiction but it's a beast to get off of. The wds from methadone are far worse and last much longer then the wds from quitting short acting opiates like oxy, percs etc.

Best bet is to try and get of your doc (drug of choice) then get on a maintenance drug like sub or meth. While I believe maintenence drugs are very neccessary in helping hardcore heroin addicts or chronic pill relapsers the pros and cons should be weighed carefully before deciding to go on one of these drugs.

Oh, well, so if used right then you can kick something minor like hydrocodone? Shoot, I really got hurt, I really used the pills for what I was supposed to, and now I really want to get back to non dependency of jerk doctors, jerk pharmacists, and jerk judge rs.

What is the deal with suboxone? Does it deal with the pain as good as norco's? I would love to have the pain taken care of AND say bye to the opiates.

Synthetic opiate of sorts I believe, used to help with opiate withdrawals..But if abused , has withdrawals of its own with are far more severe than if one had just stopped cold turkey from the pain med they were using prior to switching...

I imagine they will be bad any way you look at it...Isn't subs suppose to be a controlled taper? Because of the very severe wd's if this isn't done properly?
