thanks for answering my cry for help but can i buy tranzene at the local pharmacy
Ella gave you great advice and her post for beginners has tons more good advice. We have all felt hopeless --honestly. Again, its the damn drugs telling you that you can't live without them. Cold turkey is really rough...for a few days, but nowhere near the hell I was in before I decided to quit. I was also up to 200-300 mg of oxycodone and quit cold turkey. You can do it.
Over the counter meds: immodium, arthritus strength pain meds, muscle rub, plenty of gatoraide or good ole water, nutritional drinks, vitamins, B-6 , perhaps some melatonin to help with sleep, hot baths help relieve muscle aches, I am not recomending you take tranzene but a few just to help the 2nd and 3rd day helped me out. Stay commited to your quit. Days 2,3,4, are usualy the worst, by day 5 you should start to notice that you are feeling better. Come on here and post as often as you can, read others' post too. Someone will come along and post for you soon. Remember, suicide is not the answer to any problem. There are many on here who can be there for you to help you and let you know that you are not alone!
Hugs
Ella
