Seeing the post on xanax made me ask this. I stopped taking xanax suddenly several years ago and had a seizure. After having it I went home and slept and when I woke up I had no memory of it until the person that was with me when I had it asked me why I didn't tell him I had seizures, then it all came back to me. I had not been drinking so it was not a black out. I still wonder to this day if it is normal to forget such a major thing??

I'm glad your ok. I was in my truck the day I had the seizure but someone else was driving. You think that your MD would make you aware of this major side effect but they don't--at least mine didn't.

same thing happened to me several years ago - I had been taking them per dr. prescription and stopped suddenly, not realizing there was a danger.  Thank goodness I am off them now!!

Thank you, now I feel more normal --lol--  My body ached for days after that and you would think it would be something you would remember.

A guy friend of mine had a sezure I was there with him, he still does not remeber it .
