guess the answer has to do with -

do you want to quit or do you want to keep using?

only you can answer that honestly.  you don't need to answer here, it is just something to ponder.

were you forced into rehab or did you go voluntarily??
rehab only works if you want to stop.

it is getting pretty hard to 'cheat' these days.  you likely will be caught, so just be honest.  most importantly be honest with yourself

One of my symptoms of active addiction was lying and I am not a liar by nature. Stopping drugs is actually a small part of my recovery. Changing my ways and facing the facts of life is the core, so I would be honest, simply because I want to be an honest person. No matter the consequences, I don't want to be deceptive and manipulative anymore, I want to be free.

For some reason your question double-posted so I will post the response I had here too...just in case you only check one:

I really can't tell you what to do because if I give you the wrong advice in this situation I would have to deal with the guilt that comes with causing harm to another.

What I can advise is that you make a list of pros and cons for each possible scenario:

For instance:

I'm honest, haven't signed a contract:
I'm honest and live in a state where a signed contract isn't necessary
I'm dishonest and somehow the doc figured out what happened already
I'm dishonest and they run a test on me OR ask to see the remainder in my bottle (many states do this now)

Those are just examples.  My belief is that a person should be honest because these days docs and pharmacies can now find out what a patient is doing with a click of a button.

You have to make this decision for yourself....write down your pros and cons and go from there.

On an MH forum side...since you slipped would you consider getting heavily involved in your aftercare?  If you slipped once you will probably slip again if you don't.  In addition to NA meetings, church, addiction counselors there also are online addiction support groups.  I sincerely hope you check into these things (if you haven't already) and get some more aftercare support.

My prayers are with you and I hope you make the right decision for yourself.

I agree Hon, please be honest. I find it's always the best thing. I get in way more trouble when I don't tell the truth. Take care,
